Teaching at Willow Tree

Teaching at Willow Tree is just as life-giving as being a student.  Teachers enjoy learning all of the things they missed in their own K-12 (and even college!) educations.  Willow Tree is a philosophy-driven school.  While the teachers come from various backgrounds, they all have immersed themselves in the Charlotte Mason philosophy and methods for several years.  This ensures that, as Willow Tree grows, we can remain true to our vision and culture.  If you are interested in joining the Willow Tree team, there are several ways you can begin to educate yourself.  You can read Mason’s volumes for free, and get a wealth of other information, at www.amblesideonline.org.  Join a local study group. In the Boiling Springs, NC area there is a local book study group that meets monthly to discuss the ideas contained in her volumes.   Review the blogs and other information on this website.  Other resources can be found at Willow Tree’s Homeschool Support page.
